About Happy Tweets
A free collection of birthday wishes, thank-yous and holiday greetings for X, written by the Happy Tweets Team.
Most people know what they want to say on a friend's birthday or a coworker's big day. Finding the first sentence is the hard part, especially when you're typing on a phone with the notification already ten minutes old. Happy Tweets gives you that first sentence.
The site has two parts. The generator on the home page takes an occasion, a tone and a name or @handle, and gives you three messages that fit in a single post on X. The occasion pages list every message we've written, sorted by tone, with tips for making a template sound like you.
Who writes the messages
Every message on the site was written by the Happy Tweets Team, a small group of writers and editors. We keep each one short enough to leave room for a personal line, and we check the holiday pages so they describe dates in ways that stay true from year to year. Eid, Diwali and Lunar New Year move on the Gregorian calendar, so we explain how each date is set rather than printing one that will be wrong next year.
You're free to copy, edit and post any message without credit. That's what they're for.
How the generator handles what you type
The generator runs entirely in your browser. The name you type is never sent to us and isn't stored after you close the page. When you press "Post on X," your browser opens X's own compose window with the text filled in. Nothing is posted unless you press Post there yourself. We don't have access to your account and never ask for it. More detail is on the privacy page.
The name and the domain
We call them happy tweets because that's still what most people call a short public post. Happy Tweets is an independent site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to X Corp. or Twitter.
This website was relaunched in 2026 under new, independent management. It has no connection to earlier owners of the domain or to anything published on it before.
